PARKING SPACES & STORAGE AREA's NOW FOR SALE
Yes listed on the Aifos site is the parking lots for the four finished blocks, not that they are finished, are still in the middle of a building site (which still hasnt permition to be built the other 5 blocks on) or have habitation licences, Pool or roads!!! But if you were interested or owned a 4X4 so could drive across the rubble you could at least park your car in the underground parking space (well if they let you on site) oh cant do that (in case you notice the poor build quality and no see views,not sea views)
Cost for parking space from 10,500 up to 29,600 euro's (how can parking spaces vary that much!?!)
Storage rooms 3,500 up to 10,800 euro's (again how and why?)
So anyone who thought Aifos might include a parking space in the cost's simply as its gone on so long, Im afraid thought wrong!! also people who thought they could park on the road will struggle as there isnt one!!
40,400 euro's would buy the best parking spot and storage room, what a bargain!!!!!!!
With the fantastic service Aifos have provided I better get my cheque book out!!!!!!

HI Dom ,thanks for the news,buy the way i have only recommended that when requested to sign your Notary documents do it asap,Parking and storage is not included in the contracts and it is usual to sell them seperately and is not compulsary,any one can park on the road.
I have checked www.aifos.com web and can find nothing about tis item can you post which site you have seen it on as it will help everybody as if they are now trying to sell the parking etc they are moving things on.Nobody has to purchase until they get thier title deeds.

You have to go through a few pages as there is alot listed, I stated it was a joke by the comment, also I knew that the parking and storage was extra, it was about a year ago that a thread said about all getting together and to ask Aifos about chucking in the parking or aircon (yes also not included in price) as they were running a little over the time scale by about 5 years!!!!!!
As with all these threads everyone just ignores them, us Brits do seem happy to let things just pass by,
Also you say if they are trying to sell the parking they are moving things on? well they are also selling appartments in Estribo block, which hasnt been build, has no permittion to be build but is still being sold!!!!!!
Did it look like there was any advance on a finished road to the completed blocks last time you were down?

Very little I read here or anywhere else about Aifos surprises me any more, But this thread has.
I was told that owning an apartment meant that we had first refusal on a storage shed and parking bay. I KNEW these were going to be sold as extras.
But AIR CON !!!!!!!!!!!.
Please tell me you are joking when you say that air con is optional and at a cost.
Not that it matters much as I bought in Espuela and since they haven't even dug a hole yet, the chances of ever switching on the air con is positively remote :):):).
Even 10k Euro is too much for a parking place, let alone 30k, All they are trying to do is get more out of the mugs that they conned 6 years ago.

I actually was talking with Aifos in London about 2 years ago about aircon, as its not included. They said to fax them all my details and the property I was buying and they would fax it on to Malaga and then a price would be sorted, as I thought it would be better and cheaper to have it installed with the electrics or whenever. But as with Aifos they never replyed and the London office is gone. On what you get you can down load a PDF file from Aifos.com. Some of the details below-
Exterior- The precinct is completely enclosed and private (So private nobody can get in still!!!!)
Landscaped Gardens and pool (well not quite a matured garden and pool!!!!! what a joke)
Foundation and structures- Half still not built due to no licence
Roofs- well they go on finished structures!!!
Airconditioning- fully installed in apartments hotel (this has been deleted from the latest PDF but on the early pre 2005 ones it was on them) When I spoke to Aifos this was for Hotel appartments and not ours!!!!!!
Kitchens- The kitchen will be fully installed and will come with an oven, hood and a ceramic hob (yes oven, hob and extractor, then the cheepest units on the planet, and a 60's style water heater which if you are planning to rent the property will have to be replaced as rental companies class them as dangerous!!!)
If you want to see an appartment when its technically finished look down the photo's of Angel de Miraflores which now in June 2008 is what we would all expect on completion with our development, but as this is Also an Aifos development the keys were handed over in January 2006 (whole development not just 4 blocks) and look at the photo's of what you get, just wires out the ceiling and the quality kitchen. Also read the threads its all the same, people waiting for years for a poor quality appartment then just buying them and making the most of a bad deal, but two years on they look nice, but how can ours when the second part wont even have been built!!!??!!
P.S the Angel appartments are almost identical inside as the hipodrommo appartments, Thanks

When we bought in 2002 we were told that air con was standard. fitted to all units, I would never have bought without air con.
Another reason not to have this apartment that isn't even started yet.
what a joke Aifos are, and the legal system for allowing them to change thier part halfway through a contract after it has been signed. :Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr:

Hi every-one, just found the forum good to know its not just me thats been hood winked by aifos,but there are many of us that are in the same leaky,listing, soon to sink boat !
My own experience is similar to every-ones. Looked for a while, decided on Hipo site. Spoke to people I know who live in Cos del Sol area. Seem good price (100k 3 bed grd flr, 2 bath) 2002 off plan, smallish risk, bigish reward. Put down deposit + a bit more as there was a problem with bank transfer. What a fool!! Been waiting ever since .My lawyer contacted Aifos to request all monies back, Guess what ? No joy. "The company has no money due to the currant climate". I dont trust any of the lawyers one bit. Aifos rep phoned me 1st week of June 08 telling me there is no way that the company can refund at the moment, but my options are as follows :
Options
1 I can buy one of the completed appartments in Benalmadina ( at todays prices no compensation). using my deposit
2 In sept 08 when Benalmadina is complete the work force from there will start at Hipo site to build swimming pool & finnish all pavements so that they can release the compleated 4 blocks. The Town Hall have sanctioned this he said (my arse)
3 I can continue with my persuit of Aifos through the courts as this is my right to do so. (He reminded me that this can take a number of years to do as this is Spain) YOU DONT SAY PEDRO.
At this moment do I stick or twist??
Will they ever get finnished or is it more bull or do I go down the 7k lawyer Route with no guarentee i,ll get a penny back.
