Removals costs

        We're the same as you, no imformation from our agents or solcitor it seems we have just bought a lump of mud! It's almost 2 years since we were at CDP hoping to celabrate this christmas in Spain. We to are buying on phase 3 house 53 what number is yours? hope we can all meet and up have drink when these houses have been built

Just talked to my accountant and another friend,who have bought several houses in the region over the last few years,and said that all their developments had been delayed between 6 and 12 months and it is very common and you shouldn't be too concerned.I hope this is some comfort to you. I visited the area 3 weeks ago ,still think its a great area and excellent development.

Hello all. We have also purchased in phase 3 (No. 54) in April 2005. Went over in June 2006 to have a look and sort out a bank guarantee to help me sleep at night. I hope it's just a case of having to wait for longer than expected and we will finally have more than a patch of ground to pitch a tent! The good news was that going back to San Juan confirmed that when all is finished (including the golf courses) we have made a great choice of location. Looking forward to a celebration drink with you all some time this decade!

Hi All,

I have been reading all the posts here for the last couple of months but this is my first post so hello to all.

We are purchasing in phase ten, the original completion date we were given in September (when we put down our booking deposit) was March 2008, however having just returned from Spain and a visit to CDP and spoken to Patricia in the site office our new completion date is now December 2008, that's the bad news.

The good news is that we were also told that construction work on the first phase will commence in two weeks time as all the services that the town hall insist are in place prior to building is almost complete. So something for all the buyers in phase one to get excited about.

I have uploaded some photos I took during this visit and as you can see roads and pathways are clearly visible, and there was plenty of work going on at the time. Hopefully they will crack on now with the actual building and it won't be long before we will see the first homes built.
