I have just uploaded a recent shot of the kids play area in J13.  I put another pic on to show the really nice street lamps they have put in as well.  See 'Condado de Alhama' section in 'photo's'

Thanks for the pics, looks great - I think its appealing for guests for those of you that are renting, I think the people with children will find it really great to have something other than just pools especially for the younger children as they do get easily bored.  All coming to gether now and looking better than I first imagined.

Do you think all of the play areas will be like this? Or is it because this is where the show apartments are?  We remember our Polaris rep talking about each garden having to fund play equipment if it was wanted and benches and additional sun loungers.

The kiddy play area looks superb.........as JH Murcia has said it will be interesting (& very welcome) if this standard is replicated in the other Jardines.

cheers

We have just completed on Jardines 4 and the play area is not as nice as the photograph that AJW has downloaded for us to see

The play area must have just been for the show apartments and as usual Polaris will most likely say that if we want a play area like the one at the show apartments we will have to pay for it!!!!!!!!!!!

Just a thought - if the play areas are not all going to be as good as the show gardens could we ask for the area to be lawned instead of having a naff play area?

Something like this could be nicer for children to play rather than sub standard play facilities.

We don't have children so don't really know what they like either way but those of you who do will have an opinion. Polaris may like this suggestion as it will cost them less as well but obvious there would be a need for consenus in the garden.

The play area pic posted is in J13 which is not a show Jardine so, hopefully, the rest will follow suit.

The play area shown in the pics posted by AJW is nicer than the one in the show garden - that one consists of just a couple of naff rocking things!  Perhaps the improved play area in Jardin 13 is to compensate for the loss of a swimming pool?!!

Hi Peter!

In response to your question..........

There are a few wooden rocking rides and a double swing in the playground area (very, very basic)
I will get my husband to download some photos for you to see

Hi  everyone

We have bought in Los Naranjos Jardin 4 and we have three kids so a play area would be great.  But would not expect anything too fancy as that would be a bonus.  Getting really exciting now.  Hopefully golf course will get a move on too.

Hi Olive & Si,

We're in Jardin 4 as well and getting excited too. The pictures look great. Just sorry we won't get to visit before September but hoping to see our actual apartment then.

Some posting here have said the golf course should be open for business by May 09.

Regards

Gary & Angela

Ladylola, those who have been posting for 18 months or more will have heard my lament before but when we signed on the dotted line we had been led to believe that there would only be a play area in 5, 7 (was 6) and  13 and that we would have a garden outlook in our Jardines. We were later told that there would be a play area in each garden so I think its probably written in stone.

(Our discontent was only that all along we'd planned to go for a pool outlook but the various reps recommended being away from the pool because they are likely to be so busy/noisy in the summer months and we plan elderly relatives using when we cant.
Should have stuck to our original intention.)

Hi Ladylola

Olive and Si here.  Over here in wet and cold Ireland, so having a place in the sun and on a golf course is fantastic.  Even our six year old is golf mad.  We are off to Barcelona for two weeks tonight but won't get to visit Condado.  It would be great if you could keep me updated on proceedings.   Soooooooooooooo excited.

Cheers

Olive and Si

Despite our teeny early disappointment we are really excited about the whole project and the recent photo's keep that going. The place looks great and no-one who has completed has said other wise. Maybe the play areas are going to be slightly different throughout the resort or offer different equipment.
