signing

Polaris wanted me to sign for property before the snagging had been put right and signed as done.

Can they make me sign before everything is corrected?

Surely the snagging has to be completed before anyone signes for their property, just as you dont sign unless you have your habitable licence.

Hope you got on alright last week - nice to meet you in Murcia!  

PW have 30 days to put right any issues identified during your snagging, so yes I think they can ask you to complete before ithe snagging has been done.  But, they can't force you to complete without the Habitation Certificate.  Not sure what date your completion was but if the Certificate had arrived by then, you would be expected to complete.  

Did you complete last week then or did you grant Power of Attorney to your Solicitor to complete on your behalf?

hi debbie . no we did not sign or give power of atourny  i got back from spain on firday the 7th and thay phoned  me on the 10th saying the certifacate            was ready and i have 20 days  to come over and sign but my snagging will not be done till 30 days. surely i  dont sign till the snagging is done and signed off?   Did you get that address of the rental place i sent you?
