Will any of you have your apartment ready to rent for when we will be completing in August?

If you cant get on Alhama, try La torre. We have just booked 9 days there through an owner of a 2 bed apartment near the pool at the end of july - beginning of August for our completions day for just  £275.

Anyone wanting to rent in La Torre should put a posting on the La Torre Forums. On the Polaris World forum there is a special section for accommodation requests.

We have been staying at La Torre for the past few years and have found our apartments by doing this.  The first time we got about 15 responses even though we wanted to rent 2 apartments in the same block.

The last few times we have rented 2 penthouse apartments, overlooking the golfcourse behind the hotel.  Absolutely brilliant!  The good thing about them is that they have a terrace, similar to the ones in Condado.  So you don't have to drag your sunbeds down to the pool.

If anyone wants the details pm me.  However we have both apartments booked from 26th July to 9th August.

For people looking for accommodation for their completions, and fancy one of the other PW resorts ie La Torre. Try Murcia Golf Owners. It is all rental done directly with the owners of apartments on various resorts.

I have booked mine through an owner on that website and he has been soooo helpful. I mentioned we were out there for the completions and he gave loads of advice on what is available near by for white goods, supermarkets etc.

The website is so easy to use, there is plenty of photos of the various rooms in the apartments and what is included. There is a calender for each apartment telling you when it is available etc and also the the tariff set for each month.

I found this a great site. Be warned though, some people do not reply to your emails so either ring them or select a few you like and email them all and then decide from the ones you get replies from. I did 3, the one i booked with answered first by ringing me, the 2nd contacted me about a week and a half later and the 3rd, well, never heard anything! So best be prepared !

Anyway, hope this helps anyone out there still needing accommodation.

Well, apparently,

The shopping centre on la Torre is quite good and it's reasonably priced with good selection of food and essentials, they do great roast chicken from the in house rotisserie and bake fresh bread daily.
If staying for awhile apparently they travel in to San javier (15mins)to a shopping mall called Dos Mares which has a huge hypermarket called Eroski and other retail outlets.

here are supermarkets closer by but have not used them. But i am sure there will be plenty of Lidls and Mercadonas about.
We have spoken about quite alot of stuff, when i remember more i shall update. - Been in the sun too long, i think my brain has melted!

He mention other stuff with regards to completions but it is stuff that has already been mentioned on here.

                      Looking to rent a 3 bed apartment for three nights from the 11th August until we complete on the 13th.My apartment is in Jardine 7 but not worried on what Jardine the rental would be on just need somewhere to get our heads down.If anyone can help please PM with details and the big question how much they would charge for this.

We too are completing on 13 August in Jardine 7 and are looking for a 3 bed apartment from 11 August to 15/16 August.  If anyone has an apartment that will be ready at this time, please contact me.
