I though this thread may be a good idea to save people time and provide a short list to consider (Please don’t use this to gain personal advantage like commissions and if their is just be upfront about it).
To start the ball rolling:
The company we are using for the bulk of our furniture is called Je Ne Sais Quoi Interior Design, Web Site www.jenesaisquoiinteriordesign.com
The Sales Representative we dealt with is Tristan Jarman email Tristan@jenesaisquoiinteriordesign.es Tel: 0034 671549278
We was first introduced to this company by our agents and was very impressed by the furniture and the representative we spoke to. There was no pressure they just gave us information and an idea of costing and invited us to contact them back if we wanted any more information.
I then spent the next six months looking at alternatives in the UK and on the internet and when we went back to Spain last May we visited a number of furniture suppliers, some good, some bad often expensive for the quality and some ok but just didn’t have what we were looking for.
We then decided to pay Tristan another visit, it was soon clear after speaking to him that he fully understood the development and he informed us that as a company they had gone to Condado and gathered as much information as they could, so they would fully understand our requirements. This showed in the advice he was able to give. We didn’t want a full furniture pack as something’s we just wanted to buy ourselves from other places or bring from home, but this isn’t a problem they are very flexible. He also said that when they put the furniture and furnishing in our apartment if we don’t like anything we can change it. If you are looking to furnish your property very cheaply then this will probably not be the place for you, but if you are looking for good quality at a reasonable price then its well worth a look, ask nicely and I am sure they will give you an introductory discount. If you do make contact with them ask for Tristan and tell him Phil & Ann Mather recommended you. I promise we have no arrangement with them and have arranged no benefit to us, I would just like him to know we recommended them.
IKEA is well worth a visit for anything you are looking for, they have recently opened a big new one in Murcia and even with the poor exchange rate is probably still cheaper than buying from IKEA in the UK.
Regards
Phil & Ann
