Emma, do you think you could post on this site re. the general quality and finish of the apartments. I'm sure there would be a lot of appreciation from everyone. Many thanks

Any pictures would be good to see what we are actualy getting and not getting. (the difference from the show apartments).
A good idea would be to see the reoccuring faults from others so we know what to look out for.
Thanks Tony

I would agree, I'm dying to see what the actual bathroom fittings are considering every show apartment appears to be different and none of them show the standard fittings
Thanks

Hi guys
Just a quick posting regarding our first snagging visit on the Jardines del Alhama resort.
This visit took place with the client present and we were both fairly impressed with the overall finish of the property. One comment from the inspector was that compared to other Polaris resorts we have seen, and I know this is only one apartment, the finishing seems to be fairly good. Most issues were fairly easy to rectify and involved removing paint from floor tiles and woodwork, re-varnishing wooden areas outside, cracked tiles, grouting missing from floor tiles, scratches on wardrobe doors and also architrave, sockets not level etc etc. We did not find anything which we felt was a major concern.
We were informed that it would be 30-60 days before the utilities were connected for each property after completion, which is fairly standard on Polaris resorts, so were unable to check these during the visit.
We have taken some photos which I have yet to download but will happily try and post these somewhere for fourm uses to view.
Sorry posting is short, will follow up with more detail and photos over weekend. If anyone has any questions then please let me know.
Thank you

Wouldnt that be great- to save the money on the snagging. Cant we remove the grout from the tiles ourselves? But , then you'd need Polaris to replace cracked tiles etc I suppose. Still feel a bit bogged down by all the bits and pieces so its good to hear positive stuff.
We have had what is probably a standard letter from our Solicitors as they have had recent contact with Polaris and it seems to be a huge list of fees we might like to pay for additional services!. 'Easy Mortgage' being one of those! Wills and registering taxes are another consideration, this seems to likely to run and run............till we are skint! Us Brits are the Spaniards gravy train, like taking candy from a baby, they just wear you down with all the manyana/no comprende responses till you just give up................ like call centres that put you on hold as they can't answer your question.
Anyway i am buying a fab place in the sun at a good price, with good facilities and 20 years + of hols to come.
I looked at buying a caravan in North Wales a couple of weeks ago
£30k cost for the caravan (call that my deposit to PW) and £4k p/a site fees (call that my mortgage & utilities costs at PW). I'd say pretty neutral except in 20 years time i'll still own something that's worth something, hence i bought the caravan

Hi guys
I have uploaded some photos that were taken during our first snagging visit on Friday 30th May.
Aplogies for the Polaris ladies being present in some but they did not seem keen to move!!!
I will be back on site tomorrow so hope to have some more of another garden and also a ground floor 3 bed property.
Thanks

Thank you for the photos, please confirm which garden this is. Looks fantastic, if it isn't the show garden, it is a relief to know another pool is open, we were expecting a half finished pool when we were completing!
Don't suppose you got chance to see how far ahead the other jardines are? Is it possible to have a wander next time you are there? Especially Jardine 5!
Thanks.

Great to see the pool filled, I know on Hacienda they are still waiting for them to be done months after completion!!
Thanks, Cheered me up no end after returning home from Florida to pouring rain after 2 weeks of sun

Unless the tree layouts in all Jardines are "exactly" the same, then I think these new photos are of the Show apartment Jardines - a different perspective. Comparing to photos from 17th April, all of the trees are in the same place.
Looking good... Looks like the grass is settling in well!!!
If anyone is completing on Jardine 4, would be nice to see some photos... Thanks.

Hi guys
In answer to the earlier question regarding which garden were the photos taken the last posting is correct it is actually the show garden. The properties in this garden are being handed over first as they were the first to be completed.
As I said ealier we are back on site tomorrow and will be in the 2 gardens on either side so will take some more piccies then.
Thanks
Emma

Hi Emma,
The shots you've loaded are great. If possible could you try and take a few shots on the kitchen area facing towards the cooker? Appreciate that this may not be possible.
Kind Regards
Angela
