Thx Dan. Nice one - good shots there for gaining a perspective of what your likely outlook will be.

Looking at those pic's I think the reason the stone wall is in that particular garden block is to act as a retaining wall where the elevations of the land slope from one side of the gardens to the other. Chances are that some, but not all, of the other gardens will be the same given the rolling nature of the overall site. Nice touch and quite a creative way to do it. Hope jardines 8 are on a bit of a slope !!

I am also on Jardin 13 and by the looks of these pics I am very pleased, completing 15th July and have asked Neil to snag for us, as with other posts I probably would miss most of the faults. Cant wait

Just had my snagging report for Jardin 4. Completion delayed till 22/7 due to Habitation Cert.
Overall comment - ''Property generally in very good finished condition, with below average number of defects for property type and size''
PW have already commenced working on the defects.
Let's hope this is a general theme for everyone..............

HI Shampers - When was your original date for completion? Mine was the 19th June and I'm STILL waiting for the habitation cert (despite being told it would 'definately' be ready by the end of last week!!!!!!!!!! Has anyone else on J4 or J13 (who were all out there the same week as me - week commencing 16th June) heard anything yet???

Just returned last night from Condado.Should have completed June 30th but Habitation Certificate applied for but not received.POA arranged and was told expect to complete in next week or so.Resort looks as if its going to be amazing. Its huge and all roads, lighting etc are complete.Snagging carried out on our Apartment in Jardin 4.Virtually nothing to fix. Few small things but very impressed with finishing within apartment.Roof terrace is fantastic, looks huge at Show Apartment furnished but when you see it empty it is a massive space.Really nice girl from Polaris actually pointed out a few minor things we missed when snagging.
We were told that they plan to finish building apartments by Christmas when work on town Centre will begin. They anticipate Resort will be completed in next 18 months to two years.Golf Courses will take longer to look their best but we can live with that.
Shopped around for furniture ,white goods etc,and would agree that Carrefour is best for electrical goods as is Media Mart.Leroy Merlin is also excellent for garden furniture, lights etc and great thing is they are all in same Retail Park just outside Cartagena.

We're Jardine 4. We were out on 17th June to sign. But ending up giving POA. We've been told that Habitation certificate "should" be available end of next week. Solicitor has booked apointment at notary for 18th July. Finger crossed.
Our apartment was VERY high level of finish also. Felt REALLY picky asking for a tiny amount of grout to be added to kitchen tiles and a few other things. We're out in August again. CAN'T WAIT!!!!!!!

Ah well, should have completed today but not heard a thing from the solicitors, bank or polaris so we're assuming the dreaded habitation certificate did not arrive. Got a phone call from our solicitor on Tues evening telling us that we would be safe completing without the habitation cert. otherwise a few things could happen i.e the bank might withdraw the mortgage offer as things might take a turn for the worst, can it get any worse, it might run in to August when it will be difficult to get things done as Spain shuts down. He really got our heads spinning, I told him that most people on our forum have been advised not to complete without the certificate so we're sticking with them and not going to complete. We don't think he was to impressed that we've taken forum members advice and not his. ha.
Anyway, we might hear differently tomorrow, completion might have been done and they've been to busy to inform us, we can hope. Congratulations to George and Pauline and to Andy Clarke on your completions.
Chris and Tracey.
