Hi All,
Well just returned from a sometimes very wet Murcia region following a failed completion, and now due to complete on Wednesday this week.
Received a letter from our solicitors and he made me aware of something which could impact on all of us and cost everyone a lot of money.
QUOTE
" There is an existing legal local charge over the property related to the urbanization expenses of the Town Hall"
When I asked our solicitor about this he said that the Town Hall had done this to ensure that they did not get left with any costs of the urbanization.
Accepting that PW cover all of these costs this still leaves the legal charge to be discharged, possibly at our own expense sometime in the future.
However If PW did not cover all of these costs then the Town Hall could charge these costs to each and every owner.
2 Questions Does anyone know any more about this? (I am contacting PW Customer Service today)
Those of you who have completed has your solicitor brought this to your attention???
Incidently We are not using CAM Bank for our mortgage. (May or May not be relevant)
Phil
