Hi everybody,I was at Condado de Alhama and when I was there I had to take a look at the nearest coastal Town, which is Puerto de Mazarron. I took some photos,as there is a big beach and a Very Nice marina with several restaurants surrounding it.I was thinking of uploading some photos onto the 'Photos' part of the site, but I'm unsure if they would be seen as appropriate for this site or not,has anybody got an opinion or even any interest in seeing photos from the Port? Regards. Geoff.

Fab photos. We went to the port last November and it was beautiful. Really nice to have a reminder of what's on the 'doorstep'. Thanks Geoff

What title or complex did you load them under as I cannot see them. All I can see is some of the Jardines and I was expecting some of Mazzaron...??

Sorry for the delay...I was waiting for a general response to see if the photos are relevant to the Condado de Alhama message board as I thought they would be..But when I try to upload them I keep getting refused. I posted a few photos this morning of my apartment in Jardine 2 and they uploaded ok,but I've now tried 10 times to upload Puerto de Mazarron, so anybody interested in seeing the photos send me your email address please either by private message or by this thread and I'll send them to you all. Best Wishes.. Geoff.

Hi Harvey & Joan, I am indeed in apartment 202,well done for noticing. Are you on my right or left side as I look at the pool? I snagged last Monday and noticed some things that will probably affect you too (nothing major and I spotted it anyway,so no need to worry as it's all on our snag list). Anyway the Jardine looks great and there are already several apartments being lived in. It looks like there is a Spanish family bottom right of us. I was told by Polaris that 50% of the apartments have been sold to Spanish families,it sounds hard to believe to me,but I suppose why would he lie.... Anyway, I hope to hear from you soon. Geoff.

Mazarron, Puerto Mazarron and Bolnuevo are different places, the weathered sandstone formations are in Bolnuevo.

Good website is www.viva-murcia.com/modules.php

Hi Shamps, I'm really looking forward to seeing Bolnuevo. although Puerto de Mazarron looks like it has a lot of potential when it has slightly more restaurants, bars etc. It still seems a bit 'built up', so I'm looking forward to seeing other areas near Alhama. Best Wishes. Geoff.

Hi all.
I was over in April and took some photos of the local beaches - as I understand it. I just followed the road to Mazarron and then the port. I turned down the first side street onto the beach and took a photo left and then right. I kept doing this for the next few turns until I neared the town. I think It was the Port. Someone will confirm, I'm sure.
Anyway, I put the photos up dated 9th Aug so you will see them first on the list. Was windy with very few people around in April so hopefully a better buzz in Sept.
I completed in Jardine 13. Thanks Carol and Debbie for all the help and support.
Look forward to seeing you all at some stage and getting to know the area better.
Dave & Claire

Nice photos,
I'm not too sure which part of Puerto de Mazarron there from but when across in July the beaches where packed and it was really nice sitting outside. We are also in Jardin 13 and should be across sometime in September.

Paul & Diane.

Hi All.
Posted some photos I took of the beaches last April. I put them up as 9th Aug for easy access - Top of Condado list.
Don't know which beaches they are but I'm sure someone will recognise them.
I drove towards Mazarron and then towards the port. I went down each side road and took a photo of the beach left and right.
Completed in Jardine 13 and looking forward to coming out in Sept to get our bearings and furnish.
Thanks to Carol and Debbie for all the help and support.
Slainte, Dave and Claire
