Another property tax?

Does anyone know if the shop and any of the other facilities opened yet??????

Someone on another thread mentioned last week that shop was open at sports facility (jardin 6 ) dont know what its like or what it sells but apprently its open for business

There's a photo of the tennis courts and the 'supermarket' which they say is open on polarisgolfpropertyuk's website . Photo is dated 26th July. Hope they stock Cocoa Pops.

Hi,

A friend of mine is over this week snagging his property on Jardine 5.

He has confirmed there is a temporary supermarket located where the gym / spa will eventually be (ie. the sports area beside Jardine 5)

From what he said it was well stocked.

We aren't out again until October.............fingers crossed for a bar / restaurant by then.

We went in the supermarket after snagging last week and it is definately open.

Not massive but has a good selection of stock and not bad prices.

Don't know about cocoa pops but it definately sells weetos!!!

There is a much larger supermarket down at Camposol - which stocks everything and is open to the general public.

Thanks everyone going over next month will defo be using the shop in the hope that they keep it open for us......

When speaking to Polaris customer services today I enquired about the Foro as to when it was getting started & expected completion dates, I was surprised when she said that it had started 2 weeks ago.

Can anyone on site confirm that work has started?
 
When we were out at the beginning of August the land looked like it had been cleared and a sign gone up showing the Foro coming soon but no actual building work had commenced.

She was unable to give a completion date but said that the longest part of the job is actually waiting to get started, now that it has it will fly up. The Foro will have all the usaul Polaris bars, restaurants, banks etc.

When I asked about the Oasis, I was told that this would probably follow on after the Foro is completed as she didn't know any dates.

Well that is good news if PW are correct when they say they have started the Foro already.  As Jan has said already in another thread with all these homes being built by the end of the year what was it we are looking at 3,000 - 4,000 ? They cannot expect one temperary shop to cater for all our needs not only that I can't see them missing out on the business either!!

With Oasis not yet in place with planning etc etc it makes sense, I would of thought for PW to get the Foro on the go asap. 
If youn remember last year when we were all waiting for the Jardines to start beintg built then.... it was around October when the temperature was not so intense, they suddenly appeared!!!  and everything seemed to flyby after that.   

So lets hope it happens with the Foro.

Spoke to Carol last night and she confirmed that the found's are already in!!

Thanks Arlene, good news. 

Assume they will be trying to get them ready for next summer. Not much else round about unless you have a car. The structure doesn't look over complicated so shouldn't take long.
