Paul,
         There should be no reason why you can't pick your NIE one day and complete the next. We picked up NIE on a Tuesday morning, snagged on the afternoon, signed up at the bank for accounts etc on Wednesday morning and completed at the Notary on Wednesday lunchtime. Can't understand where Halifax/your solicitor are coming from ? Everything organised down to a tee between us & Polaris.

tan- jardines are south of the golf course -naranjos are east of the golf course near the club house -foro is in between both

Hi Billbo/Phil,

Got confirmed yesterday that it appears to be a Halifax peculiarity. If I had gone with CAM for instance there wouldn't be an issue in getting NIEs one day and then completing the next. Solicitor was not overly helpful in explaining why. Going to talk to Polaris. Are you with Halifax?
