Advice Please on Schools In/Around Calahonda

Hi All
Has anyone used the trains in Spain?
 I am researching how to use trains from both Malaga and Alicante and would welcome info from anyone who has used the service. Essentially what I need to know is the nearest train station to Roda.

                if you look up the RENFE web site you should find out all the information you need. I think the nearest station is in Cartegena some 19.2 klm Murcia is 36.3 klm you should be able to book seats on this site. We have used the train from Murcia to Valencia but not sure of the other routes. Hope this helps.

Nearest Train station is actually at Balsicas from where you can get trains to Murcia and Madrid but not sure if they go to Alicante, you may need to change at Murcia, as Margaret says RENFE website should be able to help.

Balsicas is just off the C3319 which is the San Javier to Murcia road and is probably about 15 minute drive to Roda.

There is also a smaller station at Torre Pacheco but I think only go toward Cartagena and Murcia and not mainline.

Unfortunately the speedy train service down the coast has not reached Murcia yet but that is coming.
