Returned from condado today after signing on the 6th august all snag work carried out to my satisfaction PW only to happy to fix problem garden 1.
Chipped tiles on roof, up to twelve all replaced. All paintwork which needed touched up completed. Replaced front door as marks were evident on snagging. All in all first class service from PW costomer services.
Had breakfast new resturant tuesday morning, sports! tennis courts x 2 up and running, five aside soccer pitch openned did not ask if there was any cost thou. there were people playing tennis on the courts, The supermarket is so close i cannot see to many people paying higher prices in the cafe when the shop is 10 yards away who nows?

Had to ask for the welcome pack they give you 3 months from the date you receive it to use discount vouchers in resturants all over pw. Also give you appication for PW club card.
i would just like to add they were marking out parking bays for the relevant numbered apartments.
some people may be annoyed at the distance they are away from they're apartment. I looked at the location of some of the bays with reference to the numbered apartment and honestly people are gonig to hit the roof.

Interesting that they are marking out the bays - been a lot of discussion around that. I know that in the plans I had originally all of the bays were allocated - so it shouldn't be a suprise to anyone where their bay is - as long as Polaris haven't changed their plans again!! - who knows, maybe parking for Jardin 13 will be around Jardin 7!!!

I knew there was a reason PW put my pergola at the back ( and in the wrong place) ! It was so we could watch everybody turning up and trying to find their parking spot , and then gesticulating when they realise that it was 1/2 mile away. We need the entertainment as the TV is not available yet. Look on the positive side though if it was say another 1/2 mile away we wouldn't have far to walk to the foro that was supposed to be located at the top of the Jardines.
Having said that at least the bar is open now, and according to my conversation with PW the supermarket will stay if demand continues.

Me and Mrs Welshwizard just returned from Jardin 11, CDA.
The new bar is ok, very clean and tidy as you would expect, but bordering on clinical if you want me to be honest.
As for the prices in there, I think they are a bit high. I know some of you will say "of course things will be more expensive in a bar" but maybe I had hoped PW would try to keep prices reasonable while the whole developement is still finding it's feet.

on looking at my orginal plan which PW supplied i observed my car parking bay close by i got a surprise when they move it about 100yds on the other side of the Garden. Nothing surprises me now but they have came up with the goods in other ways.

Hi folks,
Just arrived back to a depressingly cold, wet & windy Newcastle airport last night, leaving 32 degrees behing in sunny Murcia. All went well with completion and had a look round Condado to see how the site is developing. Cafe/bar is now fully furnished and outside area has tables & parasols set out. There is a childrens play area alongside, which was just getting the finishing touches applied. I have (attempted) uploaded photos of the bar area inside & out.

Hi Redpath,
The only conclusion I can come to with regards the parking bays is that by placing yours opposite your block you don't have to physically lean over your balcony to see if your car is still there. Why else would they do this, they might be trying to keep us all fit by making us walk to our cars.
I hope when peeps are moving into properties and the space nearest their appartment belongs to someone else common sense prevails and they realise there are only using the space for convenience and nothing more.

I called Customer Services this afternoon to ask why they had decided to paint the bays and they said that so many people had called to complain that they were NOT marked that they had to go ahead with the delineation of the bays. Which is a shame as I am sure that most of us who have been over now see the sense in not marking the specific bays.

I haven't been over since the parking bays were there but, I thought there was a bay for each apartment, so why couldn't they be close to their designated apartment? Hi Keeve - I'm not sure but looking at where it's situated and what's been said about it, it doesn't look as if it will be a permanent fixture as a pub. I think it will end up being a coffee bar/ refreshment area for the sports centre - The main bars will be in the foro - So for now it's just the "Bar"

Alison doesn't really watch football as she's from scotland , maybe shouldn't shout that too loud though as the England game hasn't kicked off yet!! I could well be eating humble pie by 10pm tonight.
On the other hand I am a massive footie fan, although not Man Utd. My team is Barnsley, as I'm originally from down that way before moving up to Scotland. Still we both play in red I suppose, and we've one thing in common, we both beat Liverpool last season!

Well that makes 2 reds devils on Condado, but I have a feeling we will be in the minority.
As Simon said, ("Simon says",isn't that a childrens game), we beat Liverpool last season, let's hope we keep up the winning streak against them tomorrow.
Enough footie, I have a question regarding the Jardines. When we originally purchased there was going to be a seating & BBQ area in the garden. I understood that the BBQ area was cancelled but was led to believe the seating area in the gardens was still going ahead. I have seen photo's and there appears to be a play area were the seating was going to be. Is this a temporary thing or has the seating area been cancelled also. We are in Jardin 8.

Skell, Oceanaut - Make that 3!! - and not so sure about the minority! When I was out in July had my MU Towel drying over the balcony (Don't tell the PW police!!) - got lots of positive comments from passing Spanish workman, as well as a few Brits!
