UK Military pension and moving to Spain??

My daughter is taking a short holiday, staying at our place in San Cayetano. She doesn't have a car and is getting places by bus. Tomorrow she wants to go to the market and has asked me this question, "Do you know which bus we need to get in Campoamor so we can go to the Saturday market." She knows how to get to Campoamor by bus and from what I can see, the Saturday market is in a place called Playa Flamenca. Can anyone confirm that for me? I've never been myself and only know of the Saturday market in San Javier.

Can anyone please help?

My Aunty lives in Playa Flameca and there is definatley a market on, on Saturdays because we have been round it whilst staying with her.

As for the buses I cannot help you, sorry

I get the feeling that getting around by bus is pretty difficult. Thanks for the info about the market though. We are going out there week after next and may pay it a visit.

It is well worth a visit, it's quite big and they have some really nice things.

There is another saturday market closer to home - in Los Narejos. Go onto AP7 and take first exit after airport, at the roundabout go through the arches and keep going to the end of the road. The market is on the left hand side - your daughter wont miss it. She could probably get a cab there. It's got everything there and much cheaper than in the more "British" areas.

Hope she is enjoying the lovely weather,  I'd rather be there than here at the moment - it's more like November in Derbyshire today!

Now that market sounds interesting, Karen. I know Los Narejos but didn't know about the market there. The kids were planning to go to the Rose and Thistle last night and ask there, so they are probably set up for today.
