we gave our snagging list to rudina beginning of aug and have had no response as yet.
was just wondering how many of you have had yours sorted and how long did it take to get a reply.

Hi woody,
I forwarded our snagging list via our lawyer and I was at Balcones on 10th September. Some of the snags have been attended to and some I expect will not be.
I was unable to sign our deeds as we are still waiting for NIE's through the post. I did go back to the Spanish Consolate in Manchester before going to Spain as we applied through them on 16th May. I was advised to fax or post a standard letter they provided to me and I faxed this on Friday 5th September.
The visit was not a waste though as I met Phil and Cath and was able to purchase some fixtures that I will install myself in the property. Also when Eli showed me into the house we noted wet sections of floors in the kitchen, dining room and rear bedroom plus walls between these where emulsion had peeled off. A workman came to attend the problem and established a defective fitting in the plumbing to the bath, so as I said the vist was worth while. I now hope to get over on the first weekend in October for signing, assuming we have reveived the NIE's.

Hi All

Just returned to the UK after a great week at Balcones, managed to complete and most of the furniture delivered from Villapac three days before we arrived.  Now have our NIE number, opened bank account and most of the snagging done.(there was not much wrong though).

Met Cath and Phil who gave us a great welcome, also met Roger and Jane at the pool briefly.

Have left Jeff and Andy our son there for another week as I had to return to work this week, so if anyone visits this week they will be pleased to see you.

We will be visiting again over the Christmas period  maybe before for a weekend if flights are reasonable.
