Im Joolz and i moved here just over a year ago with my wife Ellen and 2 yr old son Dylan.  If there are any questions anyone has regarding this town then we would be happy to help. i also speak fluent Spanish so if you need to communicate with any of the locals then dont hesitate to contact me.

sorry but we forgot to get the service number of the bus. as for cost we were told. 3.21 euros single 5.78 return.
we also enquired about taxi fares from granada to iznalloz and were quoted 35.00 euros in the day and 42.00 at night.

Hi woody,

Hope you are having good time in Iz. We were over in LA last week and experienced the earth quake there when in a Wal-Mart store, so it's nice to know the property at Balcones is earth quake proof.

I have a favour if you can help. One of my snagging items is floor tiles in one bedroom not matching. A number of tiles are much lighter in a line and stand out like a sore thumb. Was told that tiles are delivered this way however my opinion is that the installer should be skilled enough to mix and match tiles so that they are installed in such a way that any discrepances are not obvious.
Would you please advise me if you notice this problem on any of your room floors or others so that I can refer that it is not normal to have tiles installed in such unacceptable means.

Hi all, 

buses run frequently during the day to and from granada. Timetable below looks pretty accurate, but ive not personally used it yet. trains are less frequent. One in the morning i think and then two in early eve at 7.30 pm and then 8.05pm or something like that. strikes me as strange hours but there we go. i think the last train back from granada leaves around 9-9.30pm. ive been on a few nights out in granada and the taxi back normally ends up round 50 euros.

I'm obviously not as good at the snagging as you. To be honest didn't notice any batching issues with the tiles but one was chipped. Next to Briko depot was a (Ikea like) home furnishings store called Conforama which sold rugs(ha ha). But seriously worth a look.
we saw some fabulous outdoor barbeque/Chimnea units, perfect for the terrace.

hi guys, 

im not sure how your contracts are arranged with regards to snagging. Is this a snagging list you give to your developer and they have it done for you, or are you having to find someone who can fix these things and then you pass on the bill to your developer or do you have to settle it yourselves??? If the latter is the case I can help you out!!!

I am going to Spain on 9th September and will be in Iznalloz on 10th and 11th September so will have a look at Conforama as I plan to get light fittings from Brico Depot and install them if I can complete by that date and arrange utilities etc.

Have you seen the web site holidaylettings.co.uk. If you look up holiday rentals for Costa Tropical/Granada you will see a Balcones appartment advertised for holiday rental. Launch Fee is referred! Very interesting. I am interested to know more about the shuttle buses referred?
