Completion information received.

Hi Everybody,

Thought you'd all like to know that we've received an e-mail from our lawyer saying the architect has presented the Final Works Certificate to the town hall and is expecting the License of First Occupation in the next few weeks. We're going over at the end of June to sort out snagging and NIE numbers etc, so if we learn anything more regarding the License we'll let you know.

We have received the same information from our Lawyer too.

We look forward to meeting everyone, we will be visiting in September.  We are instructing our Lawyer to sort out our NIE nuimber etc.

We will also be going to the site on 30 June and maybe 1 July to do the snagging. Maybe we'll see some of you there.
By the way, when we did the NIEs we had to go to the police station in Granada with our passports and other documents such as the NIE application form. Maybe you should check if it can be done for you by your lawyer. The NIE seems to be necessary for a lot of things such as setting up a bank account so maybe it should be done as soon as possible.

Just a word of warning - our lawyers sorted our NIE numbers and it took 3 months !!!!
Would be best to get this sorted sooner rather than later as we are told you will need them to open a Spainish bank account and sort out your utilities etc.
