Discussions relating to the community charge have not stimulated much chat on this site. We must all be aware that whatever gets decided in terms of rules, costs etc will be binding on all of the residents. Apparently there are some pretty standard contracts covering these things. We need to decide on pool opening times, rules on pets, insurance of buildings (externally) pool maintenace and grass cutting etc. Eli from Rudina said about 10% of the site will be full time Spanish, Pepe may well take one townhouse aswell. As the contracts are usually in spanish they may chair the committee, but we all have to agree to the rules and levies etc. So far no one has come forward to instigate the procedure. I think it would be better for everyone if Pepe of Rudina takes a lead role as he has a vested interest in making sure things operate properly and that costs are reasonable as he has to sell the remainder of this phase, the Mirrador site and ultimately the second phase on this site when the property market improves. He also has the contacts and local knowledge. What does anybody else think?
