Has anyone actually completed yet, signed the deeds, got the keys, and had the utilities connected? 
Once you get the keys, what is the next step with the utilities? Do you have to go somewhere to sign for them?

Hi Mike & Sandra,

We are set to complete 14th August. We gave our Lawyer power of attorney so he will take the keys as we cant get out until 11th September (will be staying for a week as we are having our furniture installed. He is also sorting our utilities and setting up the standing orders (been told it can take 2/3 weeks). You will need a Spanish bank account for this.

When are you looking to complete? and have you heard from anyone else?

Hope it all works out.
We also gave our lawyer power of attorney but the deeds haven't been signed yet. I can get out again the first week of September (3rd-9th) and would like to have the furniture installed then as we have bought it already on our previous visit at the end of June thinking that completion would be soon. I hope we will have utilities sorted out for September otherwise it will not be easy to use the apartment. My next visit after that will be mid November. Sandra has no leave so can't get over for a while.
