Hi All - Sorry for starting a thread that probably won't go anywhere, but people asked about these things before we went out at the weekend and I can't find the threads now - Probably lost in others - Anyway, desalination plants, there are three but none on Condado, they are situated in Mazzaron, Cartagena and somewhere else I can't remember. One of them runs twelve months of the year, the other two do six months about --- The black pipes that you can see on the golf course are sprinklers, there is a concrete underground tank that holds recycled water in the middle of the course and this water will be used to water the course and plants and to wash down roads and paths - The pipes are high up at the moment because otherwise dirt and stones would be washed into the pipes, causing them to be blocked - There is another recycling plant already being dug out right over on the outskirts of the other two golf courses --- The model in the sales office is Hacienda Requelme --- They have put a hold on Mirador for now ( Sorry guys ) and are concentrating on Oasis - Within 6 months one third of it will be done and will be home to.......PW Garden Centre and.......PW Homestyle
