We've been asked by our solicitor in Spain to get the power of attorney signed by a notary in the UK and stamped with the Hague Apostille by the Foreign Office. Has anyone else had to do this and if so what's involved?
Cheers

Hi,
I googled 'Notaries in Bristol' and found several. Having chosen one I made an appointment. We went armed with passports and he did all the necessary for us including sending them off to the Foreign Office for the Hague Apostille, took about 2 weeks I recall. Oh and about £150 fees!
