And I have got permission to write this, so read it to the end 
Honestly that Carol............. anything to get out of driving me round ..........
She's only gone and had a car crash yesterday and written off her car......... Tom and her ok but shaken up and now have to go through the local police/policy shenangins.
Things still getting done but will take a little longer due to having no car at the mo (now you all know how i thought the distance between Jardins was a big thing to me given no local Foro for us and the hike to the nearest watering hole, but never realised it was that large that Carol used to drive round each Jardin checking things out - imagines Carol waving from Popelike mobile).
Anyway, have past on everyone's best wishes as she'll have enough on her plate without dealing with a load of personal well wishers.............. am sure you know what i mean........... and I'll buy her a Sangria and Lemonade tomorrow nite

A car is just metal, plastic and glass.......................people we care about are irreplaceable mate.

Carol - hope you are OK . We will be there from the 13th so if stuck for getting to Supermarket we could do a deal you show me the best place to go and we can both stock up at same time. After Shampers has been there for a week your wine cellar will be low.

Sorry to hear of Carol's accident though glad to hear she and Tom are okay. Maybe she'll have to borrow the gold golf buggy to get around. When we were on a holiday in Italy the cleaners and the general handymen/gardeners had those two wheeled electric Segway's to get around the resort!!

We met Carol the day before her accident. She is just as she is on the forum. Her two kids are a great credit to her. I Think she had a broken kettle as we did not get offered a drink (Joke Carol Honest) Hope you are ok

Hiya all
Carol has asked me to tell you that she is having some problems with her email at the moment. I have read all of your messages out to her whilst on the phone to her this evening and she says a bit THANK YOU to you all.
It was a Spanish lad (driving his new VW Golf) that ran into her. The police have told her that it is in no way her blame and their were enough witnesses to vouch for this. She is a bit sore but both she and Thomas are fine now.

A MASSIVE HEARTFELT THANKYOU TO ALL WHO TEXT, SENT PM'S AND PHONED ME AFTER THE ACCIDENT TO ASK HOW ME AND TOM WERE XX I THINK CAR IS A RIGHTOFF AND MAY TAKE A LONG TIME TO SORT OUT INSURANCE CLAIM SO AM ON THE LOOKOUT FOR A NEW CAR, I AM HAVING TO USE HIRECAR AT THE MOMENT SO NOT IDEAL BUT NECCESSARY.
THE SPANISH PEEPS ON CONDADO, SECURITY, CUSTOMER SERVICES AND RESIDENTS I KNOW HAVE ALL BEEN FANTASTIC AND VERY HELPFUL WITH TRANSLATION AT POLICE STATION ETC....
