Glass Curtains any Info?

Hi there everyone....

can anyone suggest a good company to install glass curtains for us. We have decided to install these as my dad cant even sit on the balcony  today due to the wind and rain. We have a first floor corner/end appartment so it is quite open to the elements.
If you have used a company can you also tell how long the installation of the glass took please. We have seen a company advertising this service in Dos Mares shopping centre.

We have glass curtains fitted re our ground floor apartment, and think the concept is brilliant. However, we had a few teething problems with ours & so loath to recommend our fitters, but there is a really useful glass curtains topic if you google on the polaris world forum & then select hacienda riquelme. Clearly there are a couple of delighted clients & you might find the info helpful on there re this subject. Good luck!

Like Nic and Lennie we are v interested in having glass curtains fitted. I have tried really hard to find the comments on PW forum you refer to but with absolutely zero success. Please could you paraphrase what was said or perhaps send a link to that bit of the forum.

Incidently whilst I was searching around I found an entry in the Social part of the HRwebsite that stated that there was entertainment on Fri and Sat night but our man in Spain aka Lennie says he thinks that ithis is no longer the case.

Having sat on our balcony in Jan/Feb and over Easter, we have now had glass curtains fitted and are very pleased with the results. 

We can now sit on our terrace in perfect comfort, having the curtains, closed, open or anywhere in between.

We chose a well established company and if anyone wants any info, please let me know and we'll pass on details.

The topic is on the front page of the Polaris World Forum under the Hacienda Riquelme section, (2 pages)  but I have not actually joined it & so I cannot respond to the guys who have said 'email me for details'- however reading on to the latest - it appears that the Company that several are singing the praises of are a firm called Cristal Glide. Hopefully something useful will come up if you google this! I have a felling that this may be the Company that has an outlet at the Dos Mares Shopping Centre, but not 100% sure.  Hope this helps.

I'm sure you won't regret having them fitted - we love the fact that we can choose how many 'curtains' we want to open or close, depending on how windy it is, how cold it is & whether it is raining etc & it effectively gives us an extra room, so that we don't have to clutter up our lounge so much. Additionaly, it gives an additional layer of security & so we certainly have no regrets, even though we had a few problems with the installation of ours & even though the 'draft excluder' bits that have been fitted on ours, keep falling off & we are regularly having to superglue them back! The concept is briliant - I would just choose a different Company if repeating this exercise, given our experiences.
