Polaris World Discount card

I've been waiting several months for my card now and still there's no sign of it. Has anyone managed to get a temporary card so that you can get your 10% discounts around the Polaris sites ?

How hard can it be to produce these cards ?

I also have been waiting since June for mine. Have e-mailed during last fortnight but to date no reply. Don't know why we worry though, by all accounts they are pretty useless if you can believe what others have written

The only reason I want it is because it gives you 10% discount on food and beer at the shack (aka woodhouse). I'd rather that money was in my pocket than in Polaris's.
Surely they could stamp a small card as validation until the real cards are available.

The Polarsi Discount cards give 12 % I believe, currently, off all restaurants food and 10% off bar prices....but it is not every bar (as the Bamboo on LT for example is not on the valid list).
The reason why people think they are no good is that they really dont understand the way they work. Its quite simple but it seems difficult for some to grasp. They are not necessarily permanent offers....the offers work on a 3-month seasonal cycle and it may be that a slightly different list of valid outlets and discounts apply for each seasonal cycle...so people who come out a couple of times a year and go to the same outlet and expect the same discount as they got before...and it may not be the case.
There are posters at most outlets or flyers available with the current discounts and outlets....or go onto your PW Owners Intranet website where the current offers are usually displayed.
