The shame in all of this is  that there is no trust in any one any more   ,SJ,,Admin ,Courts  ,lawyers , SARC  and even  fellow posters/ purchasers . It is all very sad . My world has changed forever there are even some at work who gloat at my misery, and say I told you so! When can it all be over !

Your just a human being that has been caught up in a mess than wasnt, isnt and never will be your fault.  We made a brave decision that should have been a dream come true. None of this is our fault not one single part of this did we, the customer, bring this upon ourselves They are disgusting people without morals and I'd still rather be me than have hundreds of people hating my very existence or my name.

Nothing ever takes the soul JA.   Certainly not them.  Keep fighting - its what you do best!!!

Sal

Sal, whilst I agree with what you say and feel and I have often said, I am sympathetic towards the innocent caught up in this mess, I feel that you must have realised that there was never a certainty of success, or why would you describe it as "a brave decision", which you made.
If it was risk free, then courage would not have come into it.

I appreciate it is always easy to comment after an event, but this type of disaster has happened before and will happen again.
Give it another decade and people will have forgotten or never experienced it due to their age or ignorance.

One sees media reports of certain retailers struggling, but customers will often pay a couple or few thousand up fron for goods and know they will not see for at least 10 weeks.
Icelandic banks were known to have serious problems many months ago, but still people and Councils, took what turned out to be a gamble, and invested money in them.

Hi Sal/JA,
Whilst i agree that this is an awfull mess and it is hard to make rational judgments and decisions i have 2 comments to make.
1) SARC has presents any information that it recieves for purchasers to use as they wish and as a purchasers organisation has been working for a postive outcome for all.
2) Purchasing any off plan porperty should not be an act of bravery but a concidered decision supported by good legal advice. Those of us without BGs were failed by our solicitors and that is where some of the blame lies. However, attemptiing to get recompense from them would be very difficult.

I am currently writing the meeting report and it will be sent out soon.
All the best to you all
 I STILL WANT MY HOUSE

Trying to read that, it makes one wonder if some knew what they were signing for, when they signed their money away, if their reading was the same standard as their writings.

Hello Everyone

First of all a big thank you to Tony for asking questions at the recent meeting about El Pinet which is very helpful to me, Tony's interest is with Jumilla but he still takes the time to ask about El Pinet on my behalf and i appreciate what he does.

The situation with San Jose is very unpleasant and i too would like to see justice done but you know life is hard and full of disappointments but it is the way we perceive the things that happen in our lives that matters. Yes this does hurt a lot but i compare what has happened with other life issues such as little Madelaine McCann and her distraught parents and so many other unfortunate people and i am very thankful that i do not have to endure their pain each and every day.

I hope i get my house finished at El Pinet but in the meantime i will get on with my life and enjoy each day.

Try telling the retired, who have no chance of earning to save and have lost their life's savings and maybe their home, that they do not endure their pain each and every day.
You know, the people who suffer physical pain through illness, who believed that the home in a better climate would be good for their health, so they signed up and trusted, based on the information they were given.
Pay your money and you will get your dream home in just 1 or 2 years.
Next you will be claiming that all developers and agents are thoughfull and considerate and only have the purchaser's interest at heart.

I for one don't give a stuff  what Almu has to say  never mind with Tony's own slant put on what ever she did say .When will people understand that for years SJ have only told us what they think we want to hear . Lies lies and more lies .
Just for the record Tony I wish you would stop going on about people with BGs being ok I can assure you that is far from true like most of the  information you so kindly give out  to others   .

SJ have only told us what they think we want to hear - Maybe JA, but those nice people at the developers, also know there are people who can't wait to support them in their hour of need and will end up passing over more of their cash if they are asked to.
And those nice, honest and genuine developers will tell them they will have their house in one year, and why won't they?
Are you trying to make out that developers aren't to be believed?

Time has helped many developers, constructors, agents, etc. Now they can just plead bad luck, credit crunch and all that, whereas, actually, their mis-management goes back a long time.
2, 3, 4, years late providing the goods. That is just a joke, yet people still believe and trust them, to the point of travelling to meet with them and believe every word told, like some little lap-dog.
Turn the table. Put yourself in their position.
Take my money from me and yet I will travel overseas to sit and talk with you and listen to your excuses. What would you think of me?

Hi and welcome back Tony

It will again be interesting to see if you found me anything out that will change my view in context of the administration, good-will, confidence and certainty.

Im really not in any mood to listen to jam tomorrow from Almudena or anybody else.  I have come to a crossroads and want some value for my investment,............this may sound against your own principles Tony but a pay back now without interest and even without achieving the amount we already paid....is financial sense..in the current climate.

The thing is, the builder dosnt care if i sink or swim, and i have the same contempt for them.

Unless there is some means of communication from SJ, to me as a customer, i dont believe anything thats placed in front of me from a psuedo organisation like SARC, much as i respect your efforts.

I am looking at the current statement from my solicitor and gathering information to sue for credit against the mass........as quickly as possible.

But i do want you to have your house...

Regards...Brian
