The golf course

Hi All
Well we had our Sunday Morning 4 ball our last freebie and afterwards we had a beer at the 19th hole yes they have a fridge in the golf shop come office and serve cold cans of beer and make you more than welcome it was great sitting outside in the sun looking over the golf course.

Hi Chick 
Just to let you know the score cards are ready and in the G/shop, we are out Wednesday afternoon for 9 holes, Friday for 18 holes and Sunday for yet another 9 and maybe just maybe pop into he 19th for a tinny.

They have also started to put the fairway makers out and the out of bounds markers in place.
It's really looking good.

Thats great news!! I can't believe they have actually got it open at last. I suppose they have finally put some flags out then? We are back out on the 14th for the weekend, so will hopefully join you for the Sunday morning. What time do you normally play?

Hi Tony

We fly back that night, so I guess it will have to be 9 holes. I still can't believe it’s actually open with a (albeit small) clubhouse. There must be more grass on the tees than the last time I seen them!!! Definitely count me in for the 16th, looking forward to it.

Hi Tony sounds like its all taking shape over at the golf course looking forward to our game on the16th when did they put the flags and holes in on the greens have they finished the bunkers as well that was a good little poem by Fromie about the golf course how is my basement coming on have you had a look down there yet see you and Janet in 12 days can't wait

Well we played yesterday our last freebie no flags, but on the way home from a hard half days work cleaning pools  I noticed a flag on the 4th green and there was about 8 cars over near the wooded hut oops club house so things are moving not sure if all the bunkers are done.

Your Place 
You now have three doorway at the bottom of the stairs and  they have started to render the walls in the main b/room, and have run in all the conduit for electric and put in the electric/tv boxes. The dividing wall is up between 2nd b/room and family bathroom including glass blocks, all conduit is in as well.
They have also put a course of bricks outside the basement window poolside.

Hope you got the pics of your basement Janet sent.

Had a bucket of balls today over @ S/G d/range, I'm glad to say the putting green is up and running and the tee's are all marked up with red/yellow markers, all stakes are out round the water hazards etc they even have direction markers to the tee's.
It's 10 euro's for 9 holes and It's 18 or 19 euro's for 18 holes it's still a good price and the trolleys are 2 euro's.

There are 4 of us going out tomorrow afternoon will keep you informed.
