Have been unwell for the last few days so am just catching up with everything.
Cant believe there are so many sites to go through.
I will never get any housework done. As if I need an excuse.
We are in Jardines 5 and will be going over late 18th Jan, staying in jardin 12 for the first 5 days . Hope to make some great friends whilst we are there

Hi Janet and Ham,
We are planning to move out to out apartment early Jan 09 which is also on Jardine 12, J1344, so pop round for a coffe and a chat anytime.
With regard to furniture, DFS in San Javier seems quite popular and they do have some nice stuff, not sure about any where else.
We have bought most of ours in England and are using Allan (Jasper 3579 european removals & storage) to transport it all over. This is due to happen late December so should be all there when we arrive in Jan.
If we can help with anything else let me know and good luck.

Hi Janet & Hami,
Hope you have a great time in Jan, have to say I'm very jealous of you as I wish we were going over too!! What we did with our furniture was spent 2 days just going around comparing what was available and the prices and then when we returned a few wks later we shopped till we dropped . We used PW homestyle for a furniture pack. Have to warn you though 1) wear comfortable shoes 2) get out early 3)map what shops you want to go 4) make a list of what you are looking for 5) have a bottle of water & wine in the fridge!!!
There have been a few threads here from ppl saying where they got their furniture, have a look back and it will give you some ideas.
all the best
Tamsin & Alan

Hi Tamsin , Hi Alan
Thanks for the info and advice, particulaly the sensible shoes. I`m afraid I`m the one who visits building sites in stilleto shoes, concidering my hair is very dark you would think I was having a blond moment.
Whoops, hope neither of you are blonde.
No discrimination intended.
Thanks again
Jan

Really pleased with our white goods package (silver) and bedroom items and will definately be going back for sofas etc
