Furniture delivery from Uk to Condado

Hi

Having read a number of threads re a guy from teeside I contacted dwindler72 who kindly gave me  the guys name & telephone number

Having spoken to him (his name is Alan ) very briefly,he was driving home from somewhere in europe at the time

He has promised to call me back  tomorrow ( sunday) for a chat

. We have a 2 bed on jardines.

 We live very near to junction 10 of the M6

No too sure if we will use him or if we would be able to share load.

We aim to be in Condado as of the 18th Jan for 12 days.

I will keep you posted as to our discision to use him or not

Hi Janet,

Did you manage to speak with Alan on the Sunday?  Are you going ahead?  We need our outdoor table and chairs sent over there so if he does not charge over the odds, then we would be happy to share loads?

Sorry I`m late keeping up to date.

Yes I spoke to Alan last Sunday & again on Tuesday evening.

He comes across as someone very efficient in what he does. He goes to spain regulaly. Has a special sleeping section in his cab so very rarely leaves his vehicle. Always parks in secured parking. Is very much aware of all relevant paperwork needed for customs and is fully insured.

However we are not going to use him. Firstly we had a better offer from a neibours brother whom we know very well. 

Then my husband discided that  he wants to buy in spain instead. His job goes manic at this time of the year.He is a Div Com / Paramedic and having on call duties as well as his usuall 55 hrs has very little off duty time. Naturally when he does he just wants to chill out. so we will be shopping till we drop in murcia & surrounding areas mid January.

Getting back to Alan I was very impressed & have passed his name & number to a near neibour who has just completed on Hacienda.

Forgot to say Alan charges by the amount of space you use in his lorry. so I would imagine it should not cost you too much.

Give him a call I`m sure it will be worth your while

Hi All,

We have met with Allan and he seems a very genuine/professional person and is very accommodating.  We have booked him for mid December and his rate are competitive.  We will give feedback after delivery.

Yhanks for your update. Would be interested on your views. Hubby definatlty wants to buy every thing in spain but with the great sales here I am inclinded to think that buying here & using  Alan is the better option
