Dishwasher Outlet

Had my furniture and white goods installed today and just got word back that there was no outlet pipe for the dishwasher. Can anybody advise?

Hi

It is connected to the lower part of the waste pipe from the sink.  The installer will have to make a small hole in the partition between the dishwasher space and the sink cupboard and attach the outlet pipe from the machine.  There are no separate attachments in the dishwasher space.

On the subject of dishwashers, mine is all installed and working ok, but although it looks the same size as my one at home in UK, it doesn't seem to have as much room inside. Normal size plates just do no stand up in the bottom like they normally would. They hit the rotating arm thing. I guess I should have checked it out better before I ordered, but I just thought it would be the same and that normal plated would fit in. I am wondering if this is a spanish thing and are their dishwashers designed slightly differently or have I just bought a crap design?

Have you tried to move the top basket up one on the runners?  Just a thought.

I think my husband did think of that and had a look and I THINK it was already on top one. I shall cetainly have another look when I get back on Dec 14th.
