Hello and a warm welcome to the first edition of sierra golf news.

Our aim is to make this a regular informative and interesting newsletter.

To make this happen we will need contributions from you!!!

This issue is free of charge. For further paper issues we ask for a contribution of 20cents towards production costs e.g. paper and printing materials it is not our intention to make profit from this venture.

CHRISTMAS CARDS (yes its only 5 weeks away)

As from Monday 1^st Dec until Friday 19^th Dec there will be a special Christmas post box in (Bevs house M14 no 7) for on site Christmas cards. This is open to all sierra golf residents and is free of charge open Monday-Friday 10.00-11.00

GOLF

As you are all aware the golf course is now open.

It is a 3011m course with apparently a few challenging holes and great views.

At the moment prices :

9 holes 10 euros

18 holes 18 euros

The driving range 1 euro for 20 balls

Every Friday there is a Friday Frolic competitive game. Entry fee is 5 euros, all proceeds to be paid out. To enter just put your name and handicap down on the list in the golf cabin.

News letter is a great idea.

With the stray cats, it may be worth contacting SATS in Torrevieja (0034 966 710047).    I know some of the English charities will catch cats, neuter them and then return them to the original site, so at least they can't breed.  Or you may find that they will be able to suggest somewhere they can be rehomed.
