Hi

Just completed last week on Condado Los Naranjos 8 and will be heading over next month to do some odd jobs.

I've bought some spotlights to instal and wondered if anyone knows the wire colouring for the celing lights.??

they are all the same as uk brown blue yellow/green

I am an English Electrician who has worked on many apartments on Condado installing lights etc .

Neutral  is Blue

Earth is  Green & Yellow

Live  can be either Brown , Black , Grey , Red or even GREEN  and in some cases you get the whole colour range in the same apartment.

I hope that I have not confused you to much !!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Malc,If you are fitting the spots that fit flush with the ceiling just be careful that it does not land on one of the metal cross ceiling supports.I have fitted many of these and its better to check before you cut the circle out of the ceiling.Thanks,Mark.

Yes i put them in our upstairs apartment,The wires sometimes come out next to one of the metal cross ceiling supports.Think its just luck really,i think around half of mine hit the metal but others i have fitted for people have been better.If you can try to make sure before you cut the hole out it saves having to use your plastering skills.Good luck,Mark.

Yes I agree with Mark , if only the metal struts were all in the same place it would make our lives a lot easier , but not so much fun!!!!!!!!!
