Hi,
I'm looking into furnishing my apartment shortly and would appreciate any advice.
The furnishings at the Roda show apartments are very impressive. see tour360.rodagolf
(The official Roda furniture packs are just too expensive.)
Would anybody have suggestions where I could locate the same or similar pieces? I particularly like the bedroom headboard in the double room and the dining table and chairs.
Many Thanks,
Ray

I would imagine given the economic situation, that there would be a few good deals to be had out there at the moment.. you could try murcia furnishings as they seem to have quite a good range. we bought a range of furniture from Zbedz but they have since gone under.

You could try Mar Menor Muebles which is next to El Patio II restaurant in Los Alcazares, they always have a good range and if they haven't got what you want they can usually get it and at a good price.
Hope this helps.

Hi. You could try A shop in San Javier I did not take name down. 100 meters before round about on left where Roda Has their Main Office some lovely furniture. Follow service road next to Ap7 by the arches. I regret I bought through Mri. All the best.

Hi
We sorted our furniture 'pack' before the information came out about the Roda 'pack' but ours was just about identical, and significantly cheaper even with swaps & upgrades of various bits. The flexibility of upgrading etc was a huge advantage and the store we used was first class in terms of staff at the store & the personnel who delivered & fitted.
I can honestly say that 'nothing was too much trouble for them and the communication was nothing short of excellent! They are based in Torrevieja but happy to deliver to Roda. The store is called Arca Mobiliario. They have a website.
PM me for any other contact information and I will be more than happy to let you have it.

There is about 4 furn shops in San Javier and 2 in Los alcazares. We bought from Castor Muebles down near the shopping centre in San Javier. They where very helpful and we are very pleased with what we got.
My advice would be spend a week in Roda and select yourself. I know packs seem like the easy way out but you will save a lot of cash by doing it yourself.
Do as you would at home:
Buy furn in a furn shop, linen in a linen shop, bathroom fittings in a big h/w store(e.g. leroy merlins)
For example Roda wanted about 900 euro for bathroom fittings that cost me 400 in Leroy Merlins.

Hi,
There are also a lot of Furniture shops in Torre Pacheco. We would recomend a shop there called Muebles Ibanez, nice bloke calleed Enrique and his brother run it.
Also of course IKEA in Murcia for all the bits & pieces.

I got most of my furnishings from DFS in San Javier. They were very professional in the work that they carried out, all to a very high standard.
An agent friend of mine based locally who I was talking with yesterday, tells me that Murcia Furniture are now asking for a 50% deposit on all orders. In my experience this doesn't sound too good,so I would think twice about where I shop.
