Non Residency Tax & Certificate

Can anyone share their knowledge and experience around this subject, not sure if I am paying over the odds.

Firstly I paid 3300 euros for my notary and land registry fees back in November 2008, I was told that I may get some of this back instead I have today been deducted more from my spanish account (another 100 euros), Is this amount about right??? Secondly I have ben charged by my solicitor about 300 euros for organising payment of and issue of my non-residency tax and accompanying certifcates, the tax itself for part year 2008/9 is 19 euros, Is it me or this massivley dissproportinate charging ( aka Daylight Robbery). As the service has been provided then I am forced to pay however can I do this myself in the future????

we had a 7 euro tax bill for half of december and was charged 105 euros by our solicitors for working this out for us, yes i think you are right it is disproportionate but as we didnt really have a clue about this tax or how much we had to pay we didnt have much choice
