What to wear

Hi

Ham & I are over tomorrow evening for a week. Left a few summer tops when we were over in January

Only taking hand luggage this time so  cant take much in relation to clothes.

As we are not sure what the weather is like over there , any ideas what we should bring

Hi Jan,

We came home last night , the weather all last week was lovely.  I survived in shorts and t-shirts, whilst er-in-doors striped down to only two layers and at times only one.  Temps 24+, Sunday was coming on 30 in the sun, had to open another beer just to keep cool

We got back Saturday after a week ........shorts & t-shirts all week & you'll need your sun block in the day if the weather keeps up. Cooler in the evenings but OK with a wooly cardy or light jacket.......have a great week.

Lucky you! Wish we were going too.  Have you started leaving stuff out there then?  I'm planning to do that when we're out at Easter - go with full cases and return nearly empty!!!  Going to leave slippers and robes, bikinis, flip flops, cardis, toiletries so avoiding the £28 per case we're taking this time (7 cases!)

On the plus side. I don't know what the weather is like today for everyone else in UK but in Liverpool it has been glorious today - if only it were like this all the time.......

Yes we left a small amount of clothing when we were over in january.

Haver just scouted round Asda George & Matalan for a couple or realy cheap things to pack. & leave. will keep my more expensive items here.

Hi Jan,

I do believe there is a Primark over there somewhere, so you may get something there or even at the markets, I have already pre warned Si of my intention of shopping for clothes to leave, the only prob I can see with this is will it be my thin wardrode or fat wardrobe, (guess I'll just have to have both) then there is the fashion issue,  lifes a bitch.

Cheapest place for shoes (that we have found) is ISIS in Mazarron town. Keep to the road straight through town and it is on the left near the little supermarket. It is just before the petrol station that is on your right.

They always have stuff on offer there. Happy hunting.

Thanks ,I had forgotten about primark & as we will be popping into Ikea, there is no excuse not go there too.

As for  Thin or fat wardrobe , there is no contest I`m afraid. It has to be fatish. Thin went along time ago

Just thought I would say that there is a Primark in the Cartagena shopping complex (just before you come into Cartagena)

and there are a couple of nice shoe shops there too!

Out on Wednesday signing on Friday, drunk on Saturday.   OMG I never gave shoes a thought.  Flats, courts, slingbacks or flipflops?????  Which should I leave there for the summer?............ Golf shoes       Easy being a bloke.

This clothes business is just a problem?!  I've left stuff there now and I find when I'm out there  I'm wearing the same things on my photo's!!  Thats no good as now everyone's thinking is that all she's got to wear??  Dilema!

After we all pay these community fees we won't have any money left for clothes, maybe we should make it a nudest colony, that would be very interesting!!!!!!!! LOL.
