swimming pools emptied

The Pools in Jardin 4 5 and 6 emptied, apparently they are being cleaned... a bit dramatic not too cost effective, Alex at the community was over at garden 4, a little upset as no-one even told him they were draining or the reason for this, I think that is about 60,000 gallons of water PER pool.

I am sure as we go along things will improve, but between this and the extensive trimming of DEAD trees, it wont be hard. lol.

Still the sun is shining and it is a beautiful day here...

Any news on when they are refilling?  I am bringing my Mum over as a mothers day gift in a couple of weeks and hopefully it will be hot enough to go for a quick dip.

Maybe they are being emptied to sort out the tiling issues in the pools....terribly done originally and already showing need of repair (and no one's really been in yet!!)....my father in law is in the swimming pool business and he was disgusted with the quality in the pools...soon to be dangerous if tiles start lifting

you wont be able to swim in them till end of april earliest (and thats only the brave ones)unless you are cold blooded or have a wet suit.im presuming youre trying to finish the mother in law off?-realy be june before warm enough im afraid.thats why i mentioned about the need to put a cheap heating system in.

Thanks for this, just walking for keeping fit then!  It'll be interesting to see if I can see the "panther" my brother saw when he went running in December.

Helen, I think the panther maybe the athletic greyhound looking wild dog that I saw in October...started to worry about running outside the gates because I didn't fancy out sprinting it home!!

So does anyone have any idea when they are re-filling them as we are over for 4 weeks at easter and although I do not intend to even look at a swimming pool until much much hotter weather my crazy 9 year old will be wanting to dip his toes!!

The Spanish here for Fathers day bank holiday are not too happy on Jardin 4. We are going to the office tomorrow to see when they intend to put water in them and we wil let you know tarapa..
