Has anyone spoken to Emma from SnagItMurcia lately?

I'm trying to contact her about some work but she's not responding to emails?  Might be on holiday I guess but where would you go better than Murcia?!

Emma did my first snagging on Monday and emailed me the report on tuesday so she isn't on holiday.

I always found her hard to get hold off.

Stopped responding to emails as quickly once she had been paid!

Heard lots of people moaning about snag-it murcia and saying what a waste of money it is.

Sorry - have to disagree.

We used snagitmurcia and they provided excellent service. Did a good job at snagging and chased up items. Emma has also provided lots of help and support with other questions that I would consider within her remit. I've used this forum for a long time and seen many complimentary posts.

Just adding some balance !

We also had problems getting hold of Emma last year - she indicated on the forum that her father was available to do odd jobs and invited people to e-mail for information.  I sent her two e-mails asking  for a price for putting up light fittings, curtain poles etc and never got a response.  I also had a PM from another forum member saying that she too had not been able to get a response.

We came to the conclusion that she wasn't responding because we hadn't used them for the snagging, but in fairness it may have just been that they were very busy.

In the end, we gave up waiting for a response and my husband decided to do everything himself!

We had no problems with the level of service that Snag-it provided for us, all in all we paid for a service and we got what we paid for, don't think you could ask for anything more.  Emma was always helpful and polite and if she was not available her hubby helped.

Certainly wouldn't snag without proffessional help.

We used Snag-it and they were excellent. I remember this query coming up last year and at that time time it was only that they were so busy Emma hadnt got back to people immediately. Maybe the same thing again. I always managed to get Emma on the mobile number and 9 out of 10 times she did respond very quickly to emails. A few times there was a delay in responding of several days. Her husband did the snagging and was very professional right down to checking every tile on the terraces, inside the wardrobes and bathroom wall tiles amongst all the things you might expect. him to check

I used Emma for the snagging process and have no complaints whatsoever.  We were discussing her bricking up the understairs area to make a secure cupboard behind it (3 bed apartment) and suddenly the emails stopped?

Guess I need to find someone else to complete this - anyone recommend anyone for this?

That's really strange because we used them for snagging with no complaints. They e mailed us re fitting extractor fans, we e mailed back expressing our interest along with other e mails regarding minor snagging issues and the e mails suddenly stopped!!

Maybe they're getting too busy!!

We're out for a quick weekend next week to bring some stuff over, then out again for Easter. Can't wait!!

It seems to be the case that Snag-it are very highly rated for the snagging process - not read of any complaints about that aspect of the service.   Where people seem to have problems is in getting a response to e-mails about other work - it seemed strange to me at the time that she was advertising her father's services for DIY type jobs on the forum and when people requested a quote, she just didn't respond.   I chased her a couple of times or so, but never heard anything and still to this day have never had a response.  

In fairness, perhaps it is just that they are very busy, but I just didn't see the point in advertising a service that people are quite prepared to pay for and then not responding to anyone.  The general view seems to be that for snagging they are first class, but anything else it will probably be quicker and easier to look elsewhere.   I know that Carol Miller has contact with a general handyman who has done lots of odd jobs for people on the forum and is very highly recommended.

I have spoken to quite a few people on condado that complain about them. Rememeber there is only a minority of owners on here.

I asked her to send of a photo of something in my apartment while they were snagging. She said she would and never did. Also I found lots of little snagging things after they had said all was ok that they hadn't found. PW have now done them all for me, but I paid sang-it Murcia to find the things and they didn't.

I don't think being busy is a very good excuse to ignore people either.

Sometimes Emma posts on the forum- maybe she will see these queries and pick up the pace. Must admit I cant remember seeing a post on here or on the other forum for a while though.
