Electircal Goods - Cheap supplier but needs help upstairs in April.

     will be across at the start of April to setup our flat so doing the normal running around trying to get appliances, and surpised at the prices particularly for and descent ones.

However, days of perserverance has found a good site                   www . ercomercial. com

They are based in Portugal but deliver via DHL, and delivery of the items below would have cost 72 euros.

1 x Combinado Teka NF 336 X Inox (NF 336X inox) = 457,00EUR          frost free
1 x Máquina lavar louça Teka LX 821 Inox (LX 821 Inox) = 330,00EUR  
1 x Máquina de Lavar Roupa Teka TKX 1270 Inox (TKX 1270 Ino) = 375,00EUR  1200 spin

All costs include IVA. Not sure on guarantee but expect to use manfacturers anyway

I've been communicating with Paula iat ERC in English, backed up with Google translation.

We hit one snag, The only problem is DHL deliver to ground floor only so I wouldn't be able to get them up to the 1st floor.  ERC have offered to send a technical team for 135 euros. Which makes me think is it really worth it?

Anyway, anyone got any comments,

- experience of ERC
- know a cheaper supplier.
- wife willing to lend a strong man to help lift on March 31st or April 1st?

We used Real Domestics- approx 1400 euro's, fridge freezer, w/machine. d/washer (matching the oven and hob brand and same finish as worktops) kettle and huge toaster. Fitted with packaging removed.

You haven't said if you are in a penthouse or a jardine, if it is a penthouse no probs, just get the guys to put them in the lift, if your in a jardine, god knows, maybe some nice cold beers for any workmen that you can capture.

The is a nearby apartment with a couple of spanish bikini clad girls with baby who we got assistance from last Aug, but the wife has banned me from asking them again. :O(

Just be aware that the warranty is normally only valid in country of purchase. We were going to buy in the UK and ship over, could save a few hundred pounds, but contacted Consumer Direct and they tell us that if we ship over to Spain, we are unlikely to get item repaired if there is a problem.

Real Domestics have given us a good price for a package. 1100 euros for white and 1400 for silver (washing machine, dishwasher, fridge freezer and micro) all good makes - TEKA.

I would recommend Rejas in puerto de M. when you pass Mercadona, continue pass the car dealer (renault?) then just after the bend (Avnu Docter Mecca) on the left is the shop on the corner. we had fridge freezer, zanussi washing machine & dishwasher for €950  deliverd & installed.. a bit of haggling but we used them before when we needed appliances for our villa in camposol.

What about samsung big screen tvs etc does it need a trip to Cartagena. Anyone bought and idea of prices and fitting to walls

Media Market  in Nueva condomina Murcia  or Cartagena, bit like Comet prizes, overall slightly more expensive in spain then in UK, but with credit crunch they might be stunting with the prizes...

Brackets available, same makes as here, same prices. Walls strong enough but stronger/bigger plugs/screws then supplied.
