Some useful info

Hi this maybe useful for anybody who is living near the belfast area i have found a solicitor who deals in spanish law mainly property and have a meeting tomorrow so if any one wants any info let me know. Also its been very quiet on here lets get chatting again and each tell our story as to where we now stand i have just fixed my mind on the legal route and am 100% focused on not going down without a fight

COME ON PEOPLE THE MORE WE STAY SILENT THE LESS PRESSURE ON THEM THEY THINK WERE JUST GOING TO ROLL OVER.

p.s. i meant to mention up above i got ane-mail from trampolin hills saying if i wanted my money back they just needed a letter from my solicitor.

If only it were that easy to get your money back eh !!!!

I'm sure the lack of posts is down to a split of opinions.

On one hand you have the dreamers who think they will be getting their dream home.

And on the other the dreamers that think they will see their deposit back.

For your information, there seems to be some action being taken as I have received an email about a petition that has been handed in to Downing Street, and also it looks like the European Parliament will also be taking an interest. Which as I understand it is trying to get the Spanish Government to take responsibility for the corruption within the Spanish building Industry and also the Lawyers who allow you to be ripped off.

Ha ha they just said to write a letter from Solicitor, Lol

The blokes been to court after about a million letters from solicitors and even in court in front a Judge he wont

give our money back - what a cheek sending you emails like that Ciaran! They obviously think we are soooo gullible!

HI all i went to see alocal solicitor today but he said it would take at least £2000 to start action im feeling gutted. so could any of the MAG members who have started legal action please update me or anyone who has started legal action for that matter please please im having a breakdown need to get something started asap. if you feel safer private message me.

HI Evad i had a look and registered my interest i suppose anything positive helps considering we now have nothing to loose

I have read everybodys treads for the past two years. And we choose to use our BG before it expired. And i am happy to say that our lawyer has got our money back. Only our deposit though no interest added for having our money for two years! Our lawyer said if we wanted to get the interest back it could take 2-3 years and might not get anything. In the end our spainish dream has cost us about £10k for nothing . The lawyers in spain where very good but have cost about  8k euros so not cheap! but in the end just glad to have money back.

Thats great news Millo, thanks for sharing that. You must be relieved!!

Some people didnt have a BG or some of the ones that did had one from a Swiss bank that wasnt even valid.

Hopefully we will get some more good news from people viewing this thread.

Dear clients:

The Court of Mula has rejected Trampolin Hills objection claim against the provisional seizure of their assets at Trampolin Hills Golf Resort in Campos del Rio and La Solera Trampolin in Gea y Truyols, Murcia. They were requesting the Court to exchange the properties seized at Solera El Trampolin which are freehold, for another one which is already seized by other clients. The Court of Mula states that the properties seized can not be exchanged and condemms Trampolin Hills to pay the legal fees for this objection claim.

The Court Audience has been set up for the 2^nd of July the case against Trampolin Hills for the recovery of your deposits. In the meantime their assets for the value of your claim remain seized, despite of their attempt to get rid of the provisional seizure sentenced by the Court. We will keep you updated on the legal situation outcome.

I have just posted a reply to this, but seems to have disappeared!! Never mind!!! Think it is time not only Trampolin Hills was taken to the European Courts but the whole Spanish system of building regulations!!!

I totally agree with you Missie, have you seen the link I posted below to sign the petition, The only money we will ever see is when the European union says pay these people back, and then it will be the Spanish or European  government who sort this mess out.

Sadly, I think that will be a long time coming!!!

We went up to TH on Monday and saw Jane who said that the most recent position was they were waiting for confirmation from a funder.  She is translating a huge project/proposal for a new financier.  On another note were totally surprised to see that 18 bases had been put down and our property has been built up to the second level!

Not a lot of activity was going on I have to say but they are still there and waiting just like us.

Looks like we shall have to go and have a look too!!! We are just half an hours drive from TH Head Office and an hour from Campos del Rio. Will be very interesting, and hope to hear more from Jane,When you say 18 bases, are we talking houses or Bloque1 of the apartments???

Sorry, I should have been clearer.  18 bases to villas on phase 1.

would just like to let you all know today our money was back into our uk bank. Our lawyer said that the uk banks ask for certificate to say where money was from . And has taken a month sort out ! so i just wish everyone luck if you are trying to get your money back. Or waiting for your villa/appt. bye
