late night shopping Easter!!!

 we are arriving at about 8pm on saturday 18-4-09 into murcia (day after good friday and before easter sunday) and wondered if there is any supermarkets open late on a night?  was just thinking that they will be shut on the easter sunday and monday and will need to stock up!!!!

I'm not sure if you have got your dates mixed up - Easter Sunday is the 12th of April - not the 19th..?

Either way, you'll find that East Monday isn't a Bank Holiday in Spain - they actually have the Thursday (Maunday Thurs) and Good Fri as Holidays.  I think most shops will be open as usual on the Saturday, but closed on Easter Sunday (but then pretty much everything is closed on Sundays anyway, so Easter won't make much difference there). 

The PW supermarket on site (J4) is usually open for limited hours (09:30 - 13:00 I think) on bank holidays :- so I'd guess it might be open Easter Sunday morning.  Probably safer to stock up on the Saturday anyway...

yeah dates were wrong!!!.... we land late on the saturday(day before easter sunday) so fingers crossed its open on the morning so we can stock up!!! as land about 7'ish spanish time so by the time we got cases and car and at condado will be after 8....  is the shop on site still open till 9pm or is it 8pm it closes?

If you are flying into Murcia there is a Mercadona 5 minutes from the airport  that is open until 9.15 pm on Saturday.
