Wardrobe size in 2 bed apartment

It would be great if anyone with a 2 bed jardin-style apartment could help me with some measurements.  I'm looking for the size of the wardrobe in the smaller of the two bedrooms. Also, whether it is all one cupboard or if it has a dividing section down the middle. The measurements I took when I was there before don't look right and I need to order a chest of drawers to go in the wardrobe.

I have the width and depth of the wardrobes but I cannot access them as they are on another PC. However, I do know that Ikea do two makes of drawers that fit in quite nicely into both bedroom wardrobes. The makes are Malm and Kullen and the prices are quite reasonable.

If I can access the measurements I'll post them to you unless you get them beforehand.

That would be great. MALM is the one I'm aiming for and I know the 3-drawer will fit in the bigger bedroom wardrobe but I'm not sure about the smaller bedroom.

I don't think the three drawer will fit and you may end up with the smaller version. However, the Kullen make is slightly smaller so you may have to consider that one.

The sizes I have should allow you to look at the different options on the Ikea website. If all goes well I will be able to send them to you tomorrow.

We stayed in an apartment in Jardin 12 In January & February. The wardrobes had a central wall in both. splitting the wardrobes into two

However our apartment is in Jardin 5 & there is no central wall, giving a much larger amout of space

So I presume it will depend on which Jardin you are in . Our apartment & the one we stayed in are two beds

The wardrobe sizes in our apartment are

Larger B. room. Sorry I only have the depth for that one which is  66cm "

Smaller B. room   Width is115.5cm

                                Depth is 51cm (at central point )

the lip inside the wardrobe is 4cm

However we did two measurements in the wardrobe for depth. One  in the center  & the second at the end nearest to the door

There was a 3cm difference. the wider end was nearest to the door, though you cannot tell with the doors closed, We presume it is the wall that is out , not the wardrobe

Hi Penny

We are in Jardin 5 so don't have any divider.  We put the 6 drawer Kullen into the larger wardrobe.

Fits perfectly and allows for half hanging on one side (shirts etc no problem) leaving full length hanging on other - really please with it.

Yes, that helps; it seems definite that the drawers I was after won't fit - glad I checked!

Thanks MG - I might try the Kullen as it seems to come in slightly narrower sizes.

Just realised that you are looking to put the drawers into the smaller wardrobe - we have been unable to find one that fits.  The Kullen was too wide.

OK MG. I think I'll just order the drawers for the bigger bedroom now (as I know these will fit) and then see what I can find for the smaller one next time I come out to the apt.
