Granite Worktops

Hi All

Joanne is out at Condado enjoying herself at the moment, she has asked me to post a thread as she seems to remember someone had some granite worktops fit and she wants to know where they came from. I've had a look through previous threads but cannot find it and as she's left me with the kids I'm running around in my Pinny and haven't got time to go back any further.

Any help would be much appreciated

Hi Simon,

If you contact Carol Miller (carol_miller1965@yahoo.com) she has a contact that can provide and fit granite worktops. 

She has had them fitted herself and they look fab!  I think Skell has also had some fitted in a penthouse apt.

Hope this helps - get the kids to bed, take your pinny off and put your feet up!

Hi Simon,

We have had granite worktops fitted by Walter & Steve who live locally.  They did a great job, and were very reasonbly priced.  Steve is also our keyholder and Joanne is very welcome to go and have a look to see what she thinks while she is there.

We are coming out to Condado on the 28th April to furnish the apartment, so all those people who PM'd me for details of the worktops are also more than welcome to pop in and have a look if they are interested.

We had a look at a couple of apartments who had theirs done and decided straight away to have them fit in ours. That was at the start of May and they have already been installed, like Skell says, best decision we made they make the apartment look so much better than with the cheap efforts Polaris had put in.

Will PM you some photo's and a contact email of the people who arrange the installation.

Re the Canucks, we have been to Canada a few times and seen a couple of nhl games, I love the atmosphere and passion they have for Ice hockey and the speed at which the game is played is phenominal, also players don't cry like a baby when they are touched unlike our footballers and especially the Portugese ones. We went to Whistler Skiing last year and went to watch the Canucks and had such a fantastic time that I have followed their progress since (I even subscribed to Setanta so I could watch them). Our 6 year old boy has a bedroom in all the Canucks colours and is crazy for ice hockey. I'm just hoping Setanta don't go under before game 7 of this years Stanley Cup as it's going to be one not to miss.

After years watching Leeds it's a release from the constant disappointment I had.

It looks like your boys might give the top four a run for their money in the next few years. I'm sure fans of your filthy red neighbours will love that, they're so worried they've even started counting Charity shields and world club cups in their trophy hauls but seem to forget the European Super Cup defeat when counting ones they didn't win.

At least some things never change........

Also got a big passion for U.S. (or most) Sports. Been to Madison Square a few times to watch Rangers. Like you say, atmosphere phenomenal. Follow Mets baseball big style, play Yankees this weekend. We go over regularly. My cousin lives in Vancouver, but I,ve never been able to catch a Canucks game. Big soft spot for them. Off to Joburg for final lions test on first july then hopefully get back over to Spain for weekend later in the month. Thanks for info
