Hi all,

We're very excited as we've just booked to go out to our apartment in the second week of June for our first ever family holiday there (as opposed to our last 3 trips spent dashing around doing completion paperwork / shopping / decorating etc). If anyone is out at the same time we can be easily spotted as we'll have our 2 young boys - aged 20 months and 3 months being transported around in their double buggy (and apologies if anyone is on the same Monarch flight from Gatwick as not sure they're going to be very quiet on route!).

Despite this being a holiday we do have some last minute things to buy and it would be a great help to have some up to date tips on where to shop as we can't afford to spend hours driving around with such young children in tow.

Firstly we need some sunloungers and ideally are looking for Aluminium / textaline ones in black or beige (that fine webby material favoured by homestyle). Has anyone seen anything along these lines in the last month for a more sensible price than polaris charge?

Secondly - we need a TV and DVD player. I've noted the suggestions about TV's recently so we know where we're going to look for that. Could someone just clarify whether we can purchase a DVD player in England (to save time) and connect it to a Spanish bought TV? Apart from a change of plug would leads / connections be the same etc. or are we asking for trouble doing that?
Alternatively if we do purchase it in Spain - daft question - do they all play English DVD's ok?

Any help on the above much appreciated and roll on June and some nice warm weather!

Hi Phil & Caroline

BRICO  on Camposol have some very good offers on at the moment for sunloungers etc. , and yes buy a DVD player in the UK and it will be perfect apart from the change of plug , and a lot cheaper !!!!!!!

Enjoy yourselves in June.

Hi Phil and Caroline

Sorry can't help with the garden furniture recommendations but will watch other's answers with interest as that is the only thing we need to buy and will be hunting next time we're out.

We're out from the 8th June with our daughter who is 4 months old and my sister and her little boy who is 4, so will keep a look out for you with your double buggy!
