We were in there on the opening night and again tonight. The barmen told us the tills just won't accept the cards at the moment as they are not set up for them, no reason to suggest they won't in the future.
Didn't go up till 9pm tonight and thought it would be busy but this wasn't the case, did notice they have a pool table and a darts machine never spotted that the other night. As we came up from Jardine 5 we brought the car to save on the 15-20 min walk and slightly disappointed that they weren't more there. We ended up having only the one due to having the car, drove back and ended up in the "surgery". There was just as many people there and Herbert was in a good mood as he now has a helper/waiter who takes your orders from the table and you pay your bill at the end of the night. Much handier for us being in Jardin 5. The heat doesn't help the walk at this time of year as well. you can also use your discount card.
Ps Good deal on the red wine in the supermarket at the moment 2 bottles for 2 euros. Not bad seeing how they charge about 3€ a glass in the bar for the same wine.
Anyway still 31 deg on the roof terrace tonight, more sun tomorrow, how we dream of being back in England. NOT.
