This is a subject has been brought up before so I thought as Id just been over to Spain I would like to rejuvenate it again. One of “many” of the design problems at DJ is problems associated with rain water/cleaning water drainage, this mainly for people that have ground floor apartments and people that have terraces that are uncovered. For those people yet to move in or complete on their apartments that don’t know what I am talking about, basically people on the ground floor apartments have all of the water draining from the apartments above which falls on their gardens etc... This can be quite embarrassing for people wanting to hose down there terraces when they look down and see very angry ”wet” faces below… The other big problem that we have is that some people are leaving their dogs unattended on the terraces and letting them pee wherever they want without putting provisions in place stop the liquid falling on to the terrace or garden below. Beware if you are having a cup of tea in your garden/terrace and you see little droplets fall into your cup please be aware that it in may not be water….
I have noticed that some people have combated this by installing plastic drain pipes, which I think is a good idea. However I think that we have to get this approved by the committee and also agree on a colour of the PVC piping. If we are not careful we will have multi coloured/different types of pvc piping everywhere.and this will just look awful
Does anyone have any comments or ideas on this as I would like to install some PVC piping etc when I am next at my apartment. I also do not want to break any of the community rules. Regards Andy
