We seem to have lost the thread on which we all introduced ourselves when this site got its recent makeover but there are a lot of new contributors (4 in the last week alone). Please tell us about yourselves here

Hi all

As it seems like our quite old thread is gone from our list, I thought it would be polite to "old" members to re introduce ourselves.

We are from Denmark and bought our appartment in DJ 1, bl 4 in 2006. Unfortunately we can not stay in Spain as much as we would like, but enjoy every trip to DJ. We hope to go for 4 weeks in July, then leaving our oldest child in Spain when we return to DK. Hopefully she will learn the language and be able to help us in the future.

We have 3 children in the age of 9, 12, and 18.

We are David & Vangy. We have 3 grown up children. Gary who comes with us to Spain most of the time and Neil & Julie who, for some reason, prefer to go when we are not there. Our apartment is in block 6. We were lucky enough to get to spend 150 days in Don Jaun last year. We are very pleased to have made some really good friends in Don Juan and the local area.

We are Kath and Bob Brechin from Aberdeen Scotland.

We own an apartment in Don Juan bloque1, the one with the sticky out terrace.

The apartment is up for sale just now.

We own a house up near the cemetery and try to spend 6 months a year there. We have had a holiday home in Fuengirola for 15 years (always in Mijas Golf until we recently moved to our new house)

We bought at Don Juan for its location, so near the seaside and the fact it is a lovely development. Pity about the road!!! 

 We hoped our family and friends would use the apartment but they are all going further afield, because of the poor pound, and the apartment is lying empty all year round. Such a waste!

Don Juan is a super development and thank you to all of you who work hard to keep it that way, we appreciate it.
