Hi All

We would like to hear from anyone who has experience of bringing a UK car over to Spain.  We are non-residents and have heard that if the car is not used more than 6 months per year it can remain on UK plates with UK tax  - not sure about MOT situation?.

Any advice or experience would be welcome.

P.S.  Forgot to add, that the six month rule you have heard about is cumulative, that means if you come over say 1st January and stay for 6 weeks that is one period, and then any other periods during the following months to the end of the 12 months (in this example the end of December) all add up to make six months.  It doesn´t just mean six months in one stretch.
