Bike Racks on Veranda

Hi everyone.

We have just returned from a lovely 9 days on Veranda and it was good to see everything looking so well.  While we were there we noticed that quite a few people seem to have acquired bikes, ourselves included - obviously in the hope that we might keep a bit fit.  Most people seem to be keeping their bikes on their balcony which may or may not be a problem depending on the size of the balcony.

But I am wondering if there is any mileage in looking into getting bike racks installed either under the stairs and/or lift areas or even if there was any space in the underground carpark.  I can't imagine that they would be very expensive to insall and it would save people struggling to carry them up the stairs or trying to get them in the lift, which would be bound to scratch the lift interior. I'd be interested to know if anyone else thinks this might be a good idea.

Hi Pauline, good to hear the complex is looking well and that you enjoyed your trip.

We also have bikes and although we have plenty of room on the terrace, it is a pain lifting them up and down the stairs. We would be very interested in  the idea of having bike racks installed.

We would definately be on board for some form of cycle racks.  There is alot of wasted space on the ground floor under the stairs and even better if we could get a space in the underground car park.  Hopefully there will be lots of people interested and we could discuss at the next meeting.  It is a bit of a nightmare having to cart the bikes up and down the stairs.
