paddle rackets

Hi everybody

We are just thinking we must buy some paddle rackets to make full use of the court on Veranda.

We have searched the internet but can not find any to buy in the UK,  when we have looked locally in the area we can only find very expensive ones but are reluctant  to spend this kind of money for the kids to probably break.

Anybody got any suggestions of where to buy for a reasonable price ?

We bought ours last time out in the big Euorski in Aquillias. But they were expensive, I think around 80euro for the two. I had looked on the internet too but didnt find them any cheaper.

Hope all is well with you? We are counting the days until we get back to Veranda, seems like forever since we were there.

We are well thanks and looking forward to seeing you in the summer hols.

The cheapest we have seen was in a sports shop and in Lopez but they were 50 euros each.  I think we will take some tennis rackets to get us going but Kev says the tennis rackets hit the ball too far but surely if you are not budding tennis players that is not a problem.  We will keep looking though.

We bought paddles in the Carrefour in Almeria. They were quite expensive, nearly as much as Tricias. They seam to be very strong though. Several children on the site have borrowed them and returned them in the same condition, so I think they will last along time. We used tennis rackets intially, but found it impossible to keep the ball in the court, probably because we were terrible!!

hi debbie & all.i tried sending this message yesterday but ill try again.the boys jamie&ross bought paddle rackets in murcia a sports shop in shopping centre beside sports stadium.cant rem price but i rem thinking thats a good deal @ the time the shop had promo on.you could try blanes @ vera beside intermarche they some times have good promo on.hope this of help to you.see you all soon.colin,gayle,jamie&ross.

We have been looking at buying these at various places and have seen them from up to 300 euros each. We found some in the sports shop headfing off the motorway going to Roquettas de Mar for 20 euros each which is the best price we have come across and they have been good over this holiday.
