Phase 3

May seem a silly question but....????????

During visits to Corvera has anyone seen any signs showing that  Phase 3 might be starting?

By the lack of response, I assume nothing has been started. We are running out of days for a summer start.

Just have to keep praying and waiting for the day.

When are you guys going to get it? Calidona originally built Roda. If you research what happened there you get a repeat of what is now happening at Corvera. FOUR years down the line Roda has a golf course and a club house-that's it- no gated community (the public have access and just turn up to drive through the main gates because the local council do not allow private communities. As a result we have one owner who's children are urinated on by a tenant who is untouchable by the law and the Community Manager)). There is no hotel, no spa, no restaurants, no shops no dream. Yes we who have appartments at Roda love what we have but it is 80% below what was promised but we paid the price of a 100 promise.

At Corvera people have the dream....if we get our apartments all will be fine but if the Roda experience is repeated you will not get the dream.... just a site with a good golf course and club house but no hotel, no shops no restaurants and any tom, dick or harry abusing the place.

Sorry but we did not purchase a property on Corvera because there would be a hotel or certain facilities there. We did not see a brochure nor have a have a hard sales pitch from agent (used independent agent). We went over 2 days after our agent told us there was a property that we might like on a developement called Corvera. 

Having gone to sales office to see the plans etc , we decided to buy purely because of location, low density, open view across 10 holes of course and walking distance to local village. We would like to integrate with the local people and not have a property in some kind of commune without the need to venture outside its perimeter.

Corvera is certainly not our dream, it's just suits what we want for now.

Perhaps Calidona may learn from their 'Guinea Pig' mistakes on Roda. But please accept that some people have bought on Corvera for different reasons.

Is it true that, in Spain, people are allowed to urinate on children and the police/community security can't do anything about it ?

  Shudi if you and others are happy with the way the Corvera development is, that's great and I hope you have a wonderful experience there, but there are many of us who are not, most of us  were promised many things as Bunty and others have pointed out which have not  materialised ( and will not, at least in the foreseeable future). As a result of these 'broken promises' we feel we are entitled to our deposits back, Calidona should do the decent thing and return them, it's as simple as that.

 I feel we have a very strong legal case although it's just a shame it has  to come to that, and unfortunately the publicity generated by Calidona having court cases against a significant percentage of it's own purchasers will not do the company or the development any good.

I've been enjoying your excellent  contributions on the forum for some time, I think I speak for most everyone when I say, I hope Corvera is everything youv'e dreamed of and more. Enjoy life to the full in Spain, it certainly has an appeal as I sit here on another wet cold day in Swansea.

Read the last few reviews on this link, especially the one fro Mark posted on 27th Aug 6.06pm, you may now have to delete year 2011 regarding your furniture. I had been told licence had been granted now we just need to know when that was for the 18 month completion
